Today we had our Spanish movie night since learning from films is motivating and enjoyable, motivation is one of the most important factors in determining successful second-language acquisition. Films and TV shows are an integral part of students’ lives so it makes perfect sense to bring them into the language classroom. Film, as a motivator, also makes the language learning process more entertaining and enjoyable.
Another benefit of using movies is that it provides a source of authentic and varied language. It provides students with examples of Spanish used in ‘real’ situations outside the classroom, particularly interactive language – the language of real-life conversation. Film exposes students to natural expressions and the natural flow of speech. If they are not living in an Spanish-speaking environment, perhaps only film and television can provide learners with this real-life language input.
Film can bring variety and flexibility to the language, helping students to develop all four communicative skills such listening, reading, and as a model for speaking and writing.

entretenemos? la motivación es uno de los factores más importantes en el éxito del aprendizaje de una segunda lengua. Películas y TV son una
parte integral de la vida del estudiante, traerlo al aula de clase es motivante lo que también proporcionara más entretenimiento y diversión
en el proceso de adquisición del español.
Sin duda las películas son una gran fuente de vocabulario. También es sumamente útil para conocer expresiones propias del idioma.
Las Películas pueden generar una gran variedad en el aprendizaje del idioma ayudando al estudiante a desarrollar las cuatro habilidades comunicativas, tales como escuchar, leer, hablar y escribir.
